I had nothing to complain about this wonderful hidden getaway in Prague. It's right in the middle of everything; easily walkable to the old town center and numerous transportation to the Prague castle (if you don't feel like walking.) The room was very spacious and just beautiful with high ceiling and a lot of light and tasteful decoration. Peter welcomed us with flexible checkin and gave us great tips about the city. True value. Would stay again any time.
Have been and will continue to be travelling through Europe for quite some time now and I can confidentially say Hostel One Prague is, and will be, unequivocally the best hostel we've visited! Huge clean rooms with kitchenettes and good bathroom amenities, awesome location and common rooms (TV, Computer and Kitchen Rooms) as well as a huge, beautiful patio out the back and free dinners are always a plus! However, what made it stand out were the staff! So lovely and accommodating, they showed us all the awesome places to go and were so much fun to be around. Shout out to Antonia, Chloe, Rob, Derek, Jon, Lucas and Britney for being particularly awesome people and added to the experience substantially by making us feel so welcome and at ease! Would have stayed their so much longer if we hadn't already booked our next destination. Miss it (the people) already!
Prague-1 hostel is in a great location. 10 minutes walk from the train station, 20 minutes walk from the old town but you pass through the new town on you way there so it's a fab place to be.
The guy that ran this place (sorry I didn't catch the name but I know he was from the states!) was brilliant. Really friendly, told us loads of information which helped us know a little more about Prague. He's obviously very passionate about the place.
The room was basic but it has everything we needed. Really spacious and clean. Access to tea and coffee which was nice after a 7 hour train journey to get there!
Very cheap to stay there. Definitely worth the stop. Not the place to stay if you are looking to make friends though as it is broken into separate flats and the hostel itself is only very small.
Easy walk from the train station (and within easy walking distance of all tourist areas), large and clean room, quiet, beautiful garden/courtyard. Overall, we were very pleased with this place for the price and location.
Perfect for couples. 5 minutes from the train station and great location for walking into the city. We had a really big room and there's is a lovely garden. When we arrived the American chap gave us some great tips and was very welcoming.
It is located 100 meters from the national museum. There is a supermarket and lot of restaurants around the corner. It has fridge, microwave, some kitchen staff (not much), hair dryer and towels. They helped us with maps and explanations about the city, where we had a really great time. See you next time in Praha!
Great little hostel with everything you need. Very cheap compared to other hostels in Prague especially over New Year, but i would guess of the same standard and in a good location. Lovely staff, thanks for everything.
This little hostel is close to Prague's main train station and it's located right next to Wenceslas Square. Take a short walk down the boulevard and you'll be in the heart of Prague's Old Town!
My boyfriend and I stayed at room #2, which was very spacious and had two single beds (with bedsheets). The room also had a closet, a tea table, two or three chairs, a locker, two small towels and a coffee machine. Everything was very clean!
The restrooms were also nice, the shower was much better than I expected! And they even had those electric towel hangers to heat up our towels and dry our clothes, as well as hair dryers.
Although we saw a lot of tourists in the city, the hostel seemed empty, because we almost never saw the other guests.
We paid 95 euros for a three night stay, which was cheap!
OH and there was free wifi, too.
In sum, I totally reccommend this hostel! Perfect for small groups and young couples :)
No reception as such but staff are lovely. Located a 5-10 minute walk from old town where all the sites are. Close to a metro station though that connects to the train station. Room was quite spacious with wifi & full length mirror. Beds weren't great but were ok. Wouldn't recommend it for meeting other travellers as we didn't see anybody else in it!
